These dogs have been under the bridge at Broadway and Indian School for at least a week with a small group of people. Sometimes they are left alone, just tethered together with the piles of stuff.

I heard from a lady that goes around trying to get the homeless to give up their dogs to a rescue. That a lot of these poor animals are sexually molested . Now that . If they leave them alone, people need to rescue them, even if you have to take them to animal humane. They don't deserve them anyway.. 😕

Mayor Tim Keller why is this not an integral part of "making Albuquerque Better?!" Forget the frivolous waste of funds on the upcoming Welcome Center party and do something to help these animals!!! It is an utter disgrace to Albuquerque and to animals to turn a blind eye toward this atrocity and do nothing. Don't know how you can sleep at night... I don't.🤬😡

Alma Mendoza Well, in my situation, I became homeless because no landlords would allow a dog and refuse to give my dog to the shelter and chance him being put down. I grew up in wealthy family who have all passed away now and am definitely not used to that lifestyle but I put my morals first. I believe that once you adopt a dog, that is for life, no matter what.
