Someone stole my dog right out of my yard. He is between eight and 14 years of age. He is gray and white. He has no crop on the tail no crop on the ears. His name is Chubbs. He is a family member of this family and we are just now getting around to seeing him on the adoption website and are trying to get him before he is gone

Destiny Estes …I REALLY do not think that the Lexington Humane Society will try to scam you…It’s my understanding that they will charge a boarding fee if you take your time picking him up…I do not understand why you are waiting! Take along your photos and anything else you can think of that shows them he is YOUR dog…Vet records or bills and maybe show them the Pawboost post. Do you need someone to go with you? I’m leaving town, but I’m sure someone reading this would accompany you if you’re too nervous. Please don’t wait! This is Friday. I believe their hours are shorter on weekends. Maybe call and tell them that you think they have your dog. Find out their hours and then GO! Do not wait!

Destiny Estes our dog got out some time ago during a storm, ended up at FCAS and when I went in to look, found him there, they just asked for proof he was ours. Wasnt chipped, but we had plenty of pix to show as proof, brought him home. Just go there and claim him.

Please display flyers in your area. Set outside your old clothes so Chubbs may detect a familiar scent. Good luck.

Destiny Estes if you don’t go claim him, he goes up for adoption after 5-7 days. They’re not going to scam you. They are going to charge you for boarding and medical care. They have pay for the care just as you would for boarding an animal.

he is there that is where he is, but I am thinking that they are going to try to scam me someway because the Woodford County one would not let you claim even though they have an option I don’t really know how to explain it, but they were no help at all. It’s a big corrupt scene like at the animal shelter and so I’m just trying to make it a public post for legality purposes that is where he’s at though in Fayette County and I feel like they’re gonna give me a problem.

If you lost a pet: Visit Lexington-FayetteAnimal Care & Control or your local animal control in person every other day, strays can be adopted out after 3 days for cats, 5 days for dogs. Put flyers everywhere. Post to Lost and Found Pets of Lex. Scroll Lost and Found Pets of of Lex and Pawboost for posts about found pets. Ignore suggestions re instagram If its been more than 3 days also need to visit Lex Humane Society daily.
