Pip's our special girl, she was acquired as an egg for my abused rescue girl who needed a companion because her bonded partner was too abused to handle touching/preening. Pip was born with a mild intellectual disability & is a bit of a perpetual baby who wants her mum's constant attention & preening & comfort, which is exactly what mum needs too. She has a bad case of FOMO & escaped to join the local wild birds she adores and I'm guessing she has become lost & can't find , because otherwise she absolutely would have returned to mum. She is also unable to fly when wet, so really worried for her with the rain (if she found water & survived the heat, which I really, really hope she has!) Mum's missing her terribly, as am I! Even sightings without catching her would be GREATLY appreciated!

Brian Esplin I have her parents outside in her cage calling her, (especially at 5am each day & again at dusk) but nothing since Thursday when she flew off with the wild birds at dusk. Prior to that, they were communicating for an hour or 2 as she flew tree to tree enjoying herself & I was chasing her around with her parents in their cage (cage is on 8 inch wheels) I also have recordings of her mum contact calling that I am using to go in advance & call her rather than trying to lug heavy cage around with low chance of finding, but again, nothing since Thursday, I really don't believe she's in earshot/local, think she went to the mega communal nest 1km or so away on Thursday night & then left with the wrong birds & went the wrong direction when flying out Friday morning

Suggestions to consider, some of which you may already be doing: Walk & call in area lost / last seen, especially on dusk & dawn, access your bird type calls from your mobile to play as you walk, especially for a small bird or a bird with clipped wing or that is hand tame so is use to going to people, and if lost bird is a 'Australian native bird' important people are aware there is a lost pet native bird to look out for - letterbox drop & door knock your immediate / last seen area (as local people will not necessarily belong to lost bird groups and you can alert them to check backyard shrubs etc) as the bird initially usually hasn't gone far. Put open cage out with food in it, post up on local lost pet sites & local community sites, check all vets & RSPCA in case handed in, post up on Parrot Alert, keep checking Lost & Found sites in your area & State. If you sight the bird up a tree stand back away from the tree & call / tempt with treats or toy - birds are unable to fly straight down to you but can fly across to you. Please also be aware scams suggesting you make contact via private messaging to 'lost pet helpers' via other social media where a payment is requested. Best wishes.
