This large, gray kitty showed up in our backyard at the end of July. He’s unneutered and has green eyes, white paws, and unique white markings under his nose that make it look like he has a tiny mustache. He’s clearly seeking help—he comes to our door for food and water and seems comfortable enough to trust us for basic care. However, he’s still too skittish to be picked up, so we haven’t been able to get him to a vet to check for a microchip. He has a gentle temperament and doesn’t seem fazed by the presence of our indoor cats. Despite his initial shyness, it’s clear he’s a sweet boy who deserves a loving family We’ve had issues with people abandoning cats in the neighborhood or trapping and releasing them from other areas.
