Message from Owner

He followed 2 other dogs out of our yard and we haven't seen him since. Our hearts are broken and his brother Droopy is depressed and cries for him all the time now. I bottle fed him when he was just 3 weeks old and he is absolutely my mamma's boy. Please help me find my Tyson so he can come home!

Thank u all for the kind words and suggestions. Unfortunately my husband totaled our car and I have no means of actively searching and going into the shelters. I miss Tyson so much. We call for him everyday and every night Thank God I put up posters before the car was totaled.. our hopes of finding him now is not feasible and our reality is he must have gotten hurt and .. We live where mountain lions are common as well as bear. He would have come home if he could. He is a momma's boy and he would not have been gone this long. Please anyone that goes to shelters please remember his beautiful face and a miracle might just happen. Thank u all again.

Please check in person at the county shelter , Oroville Northwest SPCA tomorrow. Maybe someone has found him and brought him there. I hope he is home safe very soon. 😊

TIPS TO HELP FIND YOUR LOST DOG: Talk to as many neighbors as possible. Ask neighbors to check their ring/ surveillance cameras. 🔥If you have another dog, please bring that dog with you as you search. 🔥 ✔️ Place his/her bedding and a few pieces of your unwashed clothing/socks outside and share on the Nextdoor App. Put a bowl of water (no food) in your front yard. He/she may be able to pick up the scent and find his/her way home. ✔️ Walk around the area calling to your dog and shaking a bag/box of treats or squeezing a favorite squeaky toy. Go door to door and talk to as many people as possible! ✔️ If he/she is microchipped contact the microchip company to report him/her lost and update your contact information. ✔️ If there’s a homeless population nearby, be sure to check with them. They may have seen some thing that others didn’t notice! ✔️ Hang flyers (use a bright color board or paper) with your dog's picture in your neighborhood, surrounding areas, local shopping centers, businesses, vet's offices, groomers, etc. within a five mile radius from your home. ✔️ Go door to door with the flyers as well and try to speak with people when handing out flyers. Talk to the mailman and UPS/FedEx/delivery drivers! They see a lot! ✔️ Make a sign with his/her picture and put it in your front yard stating he/she is missing. ✔️ File a lost report with the shelters in your area and surrounding area shelters too (you can usually do it online). ✔️ Check shelters in person, daily if possible. Ask to see dogs in isolation too. ✔️ Check shelter websites as well. ✔️ Check shelter found reports for dogs found but not at the shelter. ✔️ Take a flyer to the shelters. ✔️ File online with Pawboost.
