Description

Semi-feral orange and white neutered male cat

Message from Owner

Tangelo is afraid of people and gradually socializing. He was rescued in North Chili in late July and neutered and vaccinated the same day. He went to a foster in Chili but his under the steps on her enclosed porch and was very shy. When a contractor came to the hse on September 1, he disappeared. He may be heading back along Chili Ave, Paul Rd, and King Rd to the original place where he was trapped, a yard where the feeder was caring for a feral mom cat and 5 small kittens that are probably Tangelo's. Let's get him back safely inside! Call me if you see him. Put food and water out and I'll come with a humane trap.

Suzanne Schmitt he was kept safe but is very shy and elusive. The enclosed porch he was on unfortunately has 4 doors and somehow doors must have been left open when they needed to be closed.

Rebecca Wallace Buchholz good suggestions. I'm already a cat rescuer so I've done many things to try to find the kitty. He's posted on Nextdoor, Lollypop Spotters, Pawboost, my Facebook page, and a number of Facebook groups. His foster is talking with the neighbors and retracing the route back to the yard of the house that he was captured at at the end of July. I have also retraced the route a couple times. We're keeping our eyes open on other posts that may include him. And his original feeder in North Chili is aware that he is missing and will let her neighbors know to keep an eye out for him, too.

It's frustrating when cats are not sequestered & kept safe post-operatively. Trauma & pain must be very confusing for them.
