Good time to search at dusk. Bring flashlight even during the day. Check under cars, shrubs, decks and trees, pools & ponds., cool/hot spots to hide. More neighbours you tell more eyes are looking - cat will be 5-6 houses. Will try to return way they escaped- try to leave door, window, shed or garage open. Sprinkle play sand or soil from garden around for prints if no snow or mud. Put out worn clothes, shoes & bedding from pet or other pets so pet can smell home. Put up bright neon posters asap high foot traffic areas with Saran Wrap. If you moved check at the previous address.
