Message from Owner

Please help me find Toast. She's a very skittish indoor only cat who went out through a window we don't open often and didn't realize was missing a screen. We saw her briefly by our neighbors hse but she was panicked and ran under a hedge, and I haven't seen any sign of her since. She is so scared and she hates being cold more than anything. If you're in the area, can you help by checking your sheds, grges, under porches, anywhere a small cat might have taken shelter from the rain and cold? And even if you aren't in the area, can you share with anyone you know who might be?

My cat Toast is still missing. I'm told it's not uncommon for cautious indoor cats like her to hide without moving for the first week or so and that she may start moving around more in the next few days. We have done everything on the many good advice lists out there and now we need the help of our neighbors. Especially if you live in Northampton around Fruit Street, Conz Street, Old South Street, Dewey Court, and adjoining areas please keep an eye out and let me know if you see anything at all. Please help me find her and get her home

Toast is still missing. We haven't caught her on any camera and haven't had any recent confirmed sightings. I'd really appreciate if folks can keep spreading the work and looking, especially around Conz Street, Fruit Street, Old South Street, Dewey Court, and Lyman Road Northampton -- marked on this map, she is probably somewhere in that bottom third between the purple and blue marks (purple being roads she's unlikely to cross, blue circle the distance she's most likely to have roamed at this point, pins are possible sightings but all are old). If you see a cat that may be her, please call or text 267-337-1378 ASAP! Please don't try to chase her, but if you get a chance to take a picture that would be amazingly helpful

Someone texted me that they spotted her near the same place at about 11:30pm Thursday April 30! I just spent a couple hours out with a flashlight and some food to shake; no luck yet, but at least we know she's ok and staying close so far. Please continue keeping an eye out and spreading the word, and thank you for your help!

Put bedding outside as a scent. Have neighbors check cellars sheds garages and vehicles. They get trapped. Look under porches and sheds etc. Have a Heart trap with tuna. Cover trap with blanket and watch trap. Look at night often with flashlight. Check attics drawers and in trees 🌲. Culverts. Flyers everywhere. Check town authorities and vets. Look at lost and found pet sites shelters in case brought in. Craigslist too. Get kids you know to help look. Check behind walls and insulation. Abandoned buildings. Leave the door open for cat or window.
