TIPS TO HELP FIND LOST PET: ✅Place his/her bedding, your shoes, a piece of your unwashed clothing (such as a sweatshirt, blanket, pillowcases) and food/water outside *if there is coyotes in the area bring the food in at night*. 🚫Do not put litter box outside. Putting the litter box outside can attract predators and other cats which might keep your cat from returning home🚫 *Putting out the other items listed above, these are scents only your cat will recognize* ‼️ They might be nearby and can’t figure out how to get inside ***IF you have a garage or door/sliding door that can be left open*** Leave the garage/ or door cracked for them and place the shoes, bedding, and unwashed clothing in the garage‼️ ‼️Setting a trap on your porch, in garage or backyard is also a good idea. Many cats go into survival mode when out of their element and scared and may not come to you on their own. Most skittish cats will hunker down and stay nearby so a trap is very helpful as well. ✅Walk around the area calling them calmly early morning and late evening when it’s quiet & shake a bag of treats(if they like treats), or can of tuna etc. ✅If he/she is microchipped contact the microchip company to report him/her lost and make sure your contact info is up to date. ✅Hang flyers (use a bright color board or paper) with picture in your neighborhood, surrounding areas, local shopping centers, businesses, vet's offices, groomers, etc. within a five mile radius from your home. ✅Go door to door with the flyers as well and try to speak with people when handing out flyers. ✅Make a sign with his/her picture and put it in your front yard stating he/she is missing. ✅File a lost report with the shelters in your area and surrounding area shelters ✅If checking shelters in person, ask to see the animals in isolation too. ✅Check shelter websites daily (as it is updated hourly) ✅Check shelter found reports for found postings but not at the shelter. ✅Take a flyer to the shelters. ✅File online with petharbor, pawboost ✅Post on area lost and found pet and community Facebook pages, area shelter Facebook pages, Nextdoor, newspapers and Craigslist under "pets" and "Lost and Found"

Unnecessary comments, are HINDERING MY SEARCH. I've rescued cats for 20 yrs now, I now have 24 all spayed & neutered, some chipped. I've found many cats, over the years, I'm sorry, I really don't need your advice! When I see, I have a comment, I hope someone found my cat, or has a question about my cat, or a cat, they may have found, not someone, wasting my comment space, with things I've already done, plus 20 more! Of course, his chip is CURRENT, I HAVE A 17 YR CAT SANCTUARY, and For the past, 5 years, 1 cat per year, has been STOLEN! I have 8 cameras, covering our 4plex property, I've seen, cars pull over, a person get out, lure my cat(s,) open back passenger door, toss my cat in & drive off! I spend $500 a month, to feed them! I'm 60 yrs old & fortunately, don't need anyone I don't know, telling me how to do the VERY OBVIOUS. Please don't hijack, missing pet posters & waste an EXPERIENCED PET OWNERS time & effort. I am not trying to be rude, Thank you for even caring to comment, please think over my comments. What you suggest is no help, when the CATS ARE STOLEN & THEY USUALLY ARE IN NORTH SAC.

Make sure chip contact info is current with chip company. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. File online lost reports with shelters. Put something outside with the cat's scent/call name/shake food container. Keep checking shelters, too. Call name and check in trees.

Paw some tracker what more info, do you need? He is 18 months, you can see, his paws are POLYDACTYL, in his PAWBOOSTED FLYER. I have a KITTY RESCUE HOME & 24 cats, all spayed & neutered, THEY ARE MUCH LOVED, MY LIFE, I spend $500 a month outta my Disability check, to care for the kitties! Once a year, someone walks by here, or is related to a neighbor & they steal a cat, I have cameras, it is a FACT, they are being STOLEN. I got 1 back a year ago, that was KITTYNAPPED. I chipped PolyAngel, because I knew, he would get stolen, if someone saw him, because he is RARE! I was sick, he snuck out Monday morning, I had a bad feeling & I called him back, but he ran out with the rest of the indoor cats, to play on our property. He is not supposed to go past our security gate, apparently he did. He is not an outside cat, he just started going in yard, once in a while. I LOVE THESE KITTIES, ALL 24 & I WANT HIM BACK. So thinking he is STOLEN, hoping they scan him & call me. Thank you for caring to comment & what else would you like to know?

Carrie Biondo I'm not trying to be rude, but please QUIT, IIm just getting over being sick & my kitty is missing, you are NOT HELPING, as I probably know, more about finding my missing cats, u because my dear, I have rescued cats, 20 yrs now & I then and give them my LOVE & A SPOILED FOREVER HOME. Why people, come on our missing animal posters, thinking, we have not already every one of your suggestions & 20 more, I will never know! Please leave the comments, for SIGHTINGS & QUESTIONS. You people may thinking you are helping, I feel it's really RUDE, you are taking space, from someone actually looking out for my kitty. I know ALL MY NEIGHBORS, I have alerted ALL, of them as usual if a kitty of my CAT SANCTUARY. I've obviously PAWBOOSTED, I've alerted nearby businesses & my kitty IS NEUTERED & CHIPPED, why do you think it's your place to comment as you did? Do you know where my cat is? Do you have a question for me? Please don't order others around, I'm sorry, I had to speak up. People STEAL CATS, I chipped him, because I've had cats kittynapped 3 times from here in the past 5 yrs & only TINY BINGO, did I get back. So I do know how, to find my cats, I found him MYSELF, with flyers, my neighbors son STOLE HIM, but they brought him back, they thought he was a homeless kitty, I knew he would be stolen, too! Please be more considerate in your comments, to missing pet owners, ask questions rather than GIVE ORDERS.

Immediately (NOW)walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Put flyers on your neighbors doors ask them to check garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow
