Message from Owner
Hi! I lost my red footed tortoise Hermes. He is very sweet and usually comes to his name. He got out of his outside enclosure on Saturday afternoon. I love on acreage and have scoured the entire property more than I can count. Checked all his usual hiding spots and nothing. It is getting colder outside and I am worried since his species doesn’t brumate (hibernation). He does dig but I haven’t seen any signs of burrowing. We are around Sierra Middle School, Adventist hosp area in parker. So if your kids go to the school near by please just have them keep an extra eye. I have set out heat lamps and food and water all over near the hse. Just now getting the word out. This is his first time going out on an adventure alone. We believe he is a male but still a little young to tell. Thank you!
