[BL] So sorry about your missing feathered friend! Please be sure and put its cage outside with plenty of food and water, and leave the door open. Post large neon signs at major intersections within about 5 mi. Check your local ordinances for posting the signs , because some don't allow them and they can be taken down without notice. You can buy about a dozen 4 ft engineer stakes for about $25 from a hardware store, and post your signs on private property with permission. Give handouts to all of your neighbors. You can make 4 to an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. Post on all lost and found pet websites and your local neighborhood social media site. People are not accustomed to looking on roofs and in trees for lost pets, so it's imperative to make them aware. Additionally, make sure you contact all local vets and shelters.
