Description

Similar coloration to a siamese, but much larger build than a siamese. Faint stripes on tail and body. Blue eyes, incredibly intelligent. Coat is short but thick, he has a triangle shape of darker brown coloration on his chest.

Message from Owner

Please, if anyone has seen Ghibli, or took him in out of the heat... I just need to find him and bring him home. Unsure about how he got out, I am worried sick, as he has been a strictly indoor cat since he was 2-3 months old. He is cautious, but also incredibly friendly once he warms up. He is likely to be scared of cars or loud noises. I need him back home, I am so worried about him, and his kitty siblings miss him and are worried about him too.

Cats are usually found within a four or five house radius. They may be hunkered down hiding or trapped somewhere. Ask your neighbors. Go outside at dusk or dawn with a flashlight and look for your cats, eyes reflection. Shake a container of treats to get his attention. Cats may not vocalize so you must search carefully.

Make an online report with lost.petcolove.org was supposed to the PACC website using facial recognition. Make an online report with the Humane Society. Check on the PACC website under cats that have been found. Go to PACC in person every day to check.

Getting a humane trap is very important part of finding a lost cat. The cats are typically close by but hiding and scared to come around. Set up a trap baited with smelly food outside the exit where he escaped. You can borrow a humane trap from a shelter like Hermitage or Pacc and they will show you how to use it. But never leave a trap unattended or set in extreme heat. Keep searching tho on foot under between behind and inside all areas around your property and your neighbors with a flashlight to reflect eyes and a treat bag to shake. Don't give up, be positive and proactive!

Be careful of scammers targeting lost and found pages never give money up front to anyone who says they have your cat or can find him or pressure you to buy a device or Drone service and never agree to meet anyone alone. They now even use AI images of supposedly your cat, even posing as vet clinics or animal control agencies. No valid lead or agency requires money up front.
