Please keep a close eye on your dog at all times. Every dog can react differently in new or unpredictable environments, so depending on the situation, keeping them on a leash or within close reach may be the safest choice. We need to care for our dogs with the same attentiveness we give our children. We would never let our children out of our sight in a large public space, and our pets deserve that same level of protection and respect. A GPS tracker or collar can also make an enormous difference if they ever become separated from you. This is heartbreaking, and I’m truly hoping for a safe return. I beg fellow pet owners: please invest in safeguards and stay vigilant. Too many dogs are getting lost, and they are family—they’re like our children
