Message from Owner

We have been missing our boy for almost a month and we just want him . He will probably run if you try to catch him but he can be lured with treats as he loves food. Very friendly and loves to be pet, just not on his belly. Can be picked up and carried around no problem. He is microchipped.

The original post was a month or so ago so who knows. Try not to think of the worst. Have you expanded search by putting posters farther away from your place and in local grocery and pet store as well as library? Some people who feed strays and ferals dont have internet or facebook so may be unaware they are feeding or have taken in a lost cat. And still check LACC regularly.

Teresa Elliott thank you for sharing that, I hadn't seen it yet. It's so hard to tell from the pictures 💔. When my boy went missing he was chunky but he very well could have lost a lot of weight by now. Ugh I really hope that isn't him in the park. I heard the coyotes celebrating last night in the park, right across the street from my house. 😭

Gina DelisleI have heard they sometimes take days to advise people as they often get busy. And black cats are very difficult to identify from photos. They have had so many black cats lately but yes it is wise to check pics every day. They only hold cats for 72 hours and then adopt out. I know of at least two cats that were adopted out before their family checked LACC And some people only check once a week after they have given up. Yesterday I saw a family got their missing cat back after 2 months.

Teresa Elliott yes, I check every day 😞. He is also microchipped so they will call me if his chip is scanned.
