The owner of this cat came down to Slate Street between 5th and 6th a couple of months ago looking for this cat and asked a handyman who was in front of one of the law offices about whether he had seen it. She gave him a description of the cat to him but he hadn't seen it. The handyman described the conversation some days later and didn't realize that this is a "lost" cat that I have been caring for a couple of hses down from where he was working. Neither of them gave names or phone numbers but the handyman got a description for the cat and he told me about the encounter some days later. When he described the description of the cat she gave him I'm almost certain this is her lost cat! I'm hoping this woman comes back down to Slate Street Across from Slate Street Cafe. Or she can call Sandra or Richard at. or (505) cell phone. or e mail sgarrste@unm.edu
