Message from Owner

o, I’m trying to help a friend who’s cat got out last night 12/28/25 and hasn’t come yet. He’s normally an indoor kitty, and has always come back within an hour. He’s a black medium hair neutered male, smaller in size and his tail curls over his back. He was last in the 1800 block of 11th ave and may be skittish. His owner has put out familiar items, food, and litter hoping he just roamed too far. Thank you 🙏🏼

I hope you have notified and been checking daily at your local animal shelter and have asked all neighbors to check their garages, sheds, etc. in case your cat got closed inside one!! Keep calmly calling your cat at all hours, especially the wee hours! And keep looking for your cat, using a flashlight to help see its eyes…Look all around your house and in all small dark places & under a deck, stairs, greenery! 🤞🏼

I'm so sorry that Auri is missing. Often they haven't gone far from the point of last seen so check with ALL of your friend's neighbors!! If they are an indoor cat they are likely hiding nearby. Research shows that most cats are found within a 6 block radius of the point of last seen. Please ask your friend's neighbors to check their sheds, garages, window wells, under porches, etc. Consider putting missing flyers in your friend's neighborhood. Also check online at the found cats at the NoCo Humane Society. https://www.nocohumane.org/lost-found-pets/stray-cats-2/ Check daily because they are only on a stray hold for a short time before they can be adopted by others. Look for them and call for them after it gets dark (around 5pm currently) and around dawn (around 6:15am currently) as that's when they move about. I've heard that they try to return the same way they left so if you can leave a garage door, window, etc. open. Make sure that your friend's contact information connected to their chip registration is correct! I've seen scammers replying to lost pet posts saying that they have found the lost pet. If you have to respond by messenger it is a scam. Praying that Auri is home soon ❤️🙏 Here's a helpful resource: https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I?si=nfyOzi00hC5SNFV

Get out looking for Kitty especially early and late when it's quiet. Search high and low with a flashlight. Put up posters with the number large enough to be seen while driving. And post on next door com
