Message from Finder

This black cat has been coming to my backyard since about August. The cat is somewhat friendly; only backs up a few feet when I set food out. Will not let me get closer. Always very hungry, but generally appears healthy.

Debbie Farinella First, I am so sorry that your cat is missing. I am setting up to do an after-dark humane trap of this cat. I will scan for a microchip and, if the cat is handleable, check for markings as you describe. From a short distance, I don’t see any white markings, but will look.

We are missing a black female cat with peppered white fur on her chest and distinct white markings on her belly. She is not chipped. If you are able to get close enough please let me know if this cat has those characteristics. Thank you!
