Message from Owner

Please help me find Smooshy, he was a rescue kitten I fostered from about 6 weeks old and we have a very special bond 🖤 He slept on my bed every night and I cancelled a recent trip to stay with him as he was unwell, I hate to think of him out there especially during firework season. doesn’t feel like without him 😢

Keep calling your cat very late at night and very early in the morning when you can. Use a torch and treats. Put your cats bedding out and some of your worn clothing too. Ask your neighbours to check their sheds and let you vets know asap x shared x

Aww no. So sorry. I saw you say this on that other post didn't I, about the black cat at Trafford Gen. Hosp. He is gorgeous, & so like our little rescue kitten, Sooty, too. What have you tried up to now? Did you ring your lical council highways and or cleansing dept? (just in case he was found on the roads :( I know it's awful to think, but you could get closure if that was the case. Councils often don't scan and inform owners, sadly.) Was he neutered? If not he'll be wandering, looking for unneutered females. If he is chipped have you informed the chip company and got them to mark his chip as missing, and are your contact details up to date with them? Try free online sites like Animal Search uk; Critter Alert UK; National Pet Register; White Boomerang, lost & found cats; Pawboost UK; Lostbox pets, lost and found; Pets Reunited, & Catlost . com and the Next Door app. As well as lots of FB Lost & found groups. Ask neighbours to keep a look out and offer a reward. A reward acts as an incentive for people to look, but also to inform you too. Eg spill the beans if they know their neighbour is holding him in their home ;-) You don't need to say what the reward is, or how much, etc, just use the word reward, for info leading to his safe return. I pray you find him soon. Let us know Really sorry. Here is our Sooty, rescued off the road, 2 & a half months ago. > he could be his twin!
