I’m asking for help for this poor little dog before something terrible happens. I’ve been watching this baby running scared around the Fairbanks Ave area near PCPC Church, and it is heartbreaking. The dog appears to be injured, is extremely frightened, and will not allow anyone to get close. Every time someone approaches, it bolts — and with Fairbanks Ave and the I-4 corridor right there, I’m terrified it is going to get hit by a car. Orange County Animal Services has already tried to catch the dog and has not been successful. At this point, I really believe we need someone experienced with trapping scared or feral dogs — especially someone with a drop net, enclosure trap, feeding-station setup, or other specialized equipment. Please, if you know an independent trapper, rescue group, lost-dog recovery volunteer, or anyone experienced with safely capturing terrified dogs, send this to them or tag them. And PLEASE do not chase, corner, follow, or call out to the dog if you see it. It is in full flight mode and will run directly toward traffic. I know this isn’t my dog, but I can’t just drive past and pretend I didn’t see an animal this scared and vulnerable. I’m desperately trying to get the right person involved before it’s too late. Location: near PCPC Church, W Fairbanks Ave & Adanson St, Orlando/Winter Park area. Please share this as widely as you can. Even one share could reach the person who knows how to safely get this baby off the street.
