Luke is all I have, my 2 other cats have crossed the rainbow bridge. Luke is my Constant Companion and little buddy. He was spooked by fireworks.

Wait so he was allowed to roam and during fireworks? Some comments say he fought other cats. When are people going to realize every day you allow your cat to roam is a potential death sentence . Mine are all inside. I don’t care how much they want out. I am their protector for life. Why would anyone risk a life they say they love?

Nancy Bryan they didnt just leave. You lived across from them and you used to lock luke in your house. You told them to leave Luke because you wanted him.

Chris Duran sorry, but they did leave him, said they Might move in about 4 years,that was almost 3 years ago, then the house was tented and then they were gone without saying a word. They said he did not like the new kitten they brought home and didn’t know what they were going to do about him. I mentioned I would take him IF that happened, then THEY WERE gone without a word about Luke to me. So yeah, I consider THAT Leaving him. The point IS: have you seen him.

I remember Luke. Definitely not "left" by the previous owners. He used to fight other cats in the neighborhood. Hope he's okay. He came home with some pretty gnarly battle scars over the years.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO LITTER BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.
