Description

MISSING CAT! 12 yr old pure white full-blooded Maine coon Jack has been with us for his entire 12 years and out whole family is missing him. We have checked shelters and vets within a 6 mile radius. We have posters all around the neighborhood. No one has had any sightinga of him, exceot a neighbor who sent us a ring video of the day he got out. Either people arent seeing my posters and posts or they're too busy to check to see which way he went that day. I really feel that someone scooped him up and has him in their hse because ive had multiple other cats walk into my garage, that I've been leaving open with water and a camera and his litter box, but none of them have been Jack. Multiple neighbors have been looking for him out on walks and no one has seen him. I wish people would do the right thing and try to find a pets owner before trying to keep them. I have 2 other cats missing their brother and a 2 year old son missing his cat too.

Message from Owner

This cat has 2 brother cats that are missing him and myself, my husband and my 2 year old. He somehow slipped out of the hse and we didn't know u til I fed them and he didn't come. We searched the hse, I've walked the neighborhood several times. He usually hides and sleeps so we thought he was just sleeping somewhere but its not normal for him to not come for food. I can't even sleep because I'm so worried about him--he doesn't know how to be an outside cat..

Cat is Close by. Check at night under bushes and porches etc with flash light for glow of thr eyes. Leave (ideally in a trap) smelly fish (like mackerel) or hot foods (my cat came back after 16 days to my neighbors grilling burgers). Call at night. Post on pawboost and print physical posters. Put posters in page protectors with closed side up and bottom taped closed. Put them up in area and knock on neighbors doors to ask to look and keep an eye out and give them a flyer for if they see cat. https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/lost-cat-behavior/ https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/intersection-alerts/ Also, I used https://www.professionalpettrackers.com/

We still have not found him. We suspect someone may have taken him in their house or fed him. We've been walking the neighborhood at night and in the early mornings when we can and calling for him with his treats and haven't seen anything. We have had our garage door open every night since he went missing with fresh food and water and some of our clothing. I feel like if he was outside, he'd have heard us and come for his treats. If anyone sees him please let me know, I have a sad 2 year old asking where his Jack is. If you have him inside with you or know someone who has found him please help us bring him home.

Go outside especially at night as often as possible & call her name! Your voice is the best way to bring her home!

Knock on neighbours doors and put out flyers everywhere. Do offer rewards. Also go out in the night. You can hear him better then. Check the pounds too. Airtags on collars help greatly.

If you have a shed or garage or enclosed porch, prop open the door overnight and put unwashed laundry inside. He may go in overnight. Don't put food in there because it may attract other critters. Leave a window or door open to your home after dark. He may come in. Please borrow a trap from your local shelter and set it up ASAP. Sending prayers.🙏
