I found a dog in a walk and was able to get him home. He is being cared for but I don’t have the means to keep him.

Handsome fellow! Please use caution w/anyone saying “he’s mine”. Your post is public and may get shared anywhere. There’s rotten people who troll groups looking for free animals for unsavory things (like bait animals to train fighting dogs or for target practice… and they usually send their girlfriend with a child so you’d never guess). Pics can be faked. You want vet references that you can verify *before* you meet. Meanwhile, enjoy your guest ❤️

Good job getting him to safety. Take that baby to any vet or shelter so they can do a free scan for a microchip that may ID the owners fast. Just call ahead. You should report to ACCT that you found this dog because that’s the first place the owners will look. If you cannot foster the dog while you seek the owners, you can take him to ACCT with confidence - the smaller dogs get pulled to safety pretty fast by rescue organizations. https://acctphilly.org

If you can’t keep him, can you take him somewhere to be safe?
