UPDATE! As today Friday July 17 our cat STILL MISSING /// We’ve been looking non stop for him in our complex, the Palmer residences in San Juan Capistrano, we think he might went out so if you are from here or live around, Dana point/San clemente/mission viejo please keep an aye open for us!! We just want our baby back 🏡// Our beloved Stud is an indoor cat and has never been used to living outside. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and deeply attached to us. He sleeps with us every night and is always by our side. We lost him yesterday around 9–10 PM during the power outage. He got scared, ran off, and we haven’t seen him since. We’ve been searching for him nonstop ever since. We are absolutely devastated 💔❤️‍🩹😭😢😔and just want our baby back home. If you see him, please don’t chase or scare him—he is likely frightened. Please contact us immediately. Every share and every possible sighting means the world to us. Thank you so much for helping us bring our baby home. ❤️ — with California Lost Cats and 3 others in San Juan Capistrano. — in San Juan Capistrano.

General Information: Indoor cats are usually close to home. Check any and all hiding places in your home - closets, under side of mattress. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NOT A LITTER BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Immediately (NOW)walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Ask your neighbors to check cameras garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow
