One day I saw a cat eating my bird food for my bird feeder. I kept an eye on her and eventually she would come to the porch for food. I later I realized she was expecting. I watched her as she made a little nest under the neighbor's porch. She had two kittens. She was so smart. She taught them that it was okay to get food from us. Eventually I was able to trap them. I took the mother to be spayed and the kittens to be spayed and neutered. Unfortunately the mother was so ill the decision was made to euthanize as she wouldn't have made it through the winter. Since the kittens were feral I decided to keep them. I've had them for 3 years. We've been working on both of them allowing me to pick them up. They don't get people at all but we were getting there.On August 12th on away from Pennsylvania to Washington State, I had the cats in the back of my car. My boy cat who is named boy boy,managed to escape. Fortunately he has had his rabies shot and had flea medicine on. He hasn't been outside on his own since I adopted them 3 years ago. He's very shy and will not come to anyone other than me . If you see my boy boy, call him but he probably won't come. What you'll need to do is use a humane box trap. I had to leave Elgin to continue my trip to Washington State. Leaving him behind was such a horrible experience. Please be on the lookout for him. He's such a baby. He doesn't understand anything outside. I'm offering a reward for his return. Of course I will pay for his flight to Washington. Please be on the lookout for he's a lovely boy and I miss him so much. I feel horrible that he's gone. Fortunately his sister didn't escape so she is still with me and she misses him too. Thank you in advance for your efforts, I'm saying a prayer that he's found.
