Description

Bengal, so spotted like a leopard -- she is still missing - we are VERY actively searching. If you see or hear of a leopard spotted cat (she is not a very large cat only weighing about 7 lbs).. PLEASE contact us. She is very skittish, please do not approach. She has been spotted numerous times around Sunset Park, on Sunset, Bryn Mawr, Oak, and Hill streets.

Message from Owner

This is our daughter’s cat and we are taking care of her for the holidays, she is strictly an apmt cat, but has been here w us for six weeks.

Ask your neighbors if they have a ringing doorbells to see if she’s been seen walking around at night. Its also best if you ask if you can look in the garage and in the yards because your cat is already in survival mode and afraid so having strange people go out there is just gonna make it get more scared and run further away, but they can stay very well hidden for a long time, but eventually will be hungry and thirsty. I know it seems like an eternity for you guys but it’s not for an indoor cat that gets out so be patient keep doing whatever you’re doing. Please do use a flashlight and walk all around until you find those eyes.🙏🏻

Toni Basil thank you for your note. Yes this weekend we expanded our flyers to ~1 mile from home. I recently learned that lost bengals can go further than typical indoor cats. Have you lost a bengal before?

Yes, please flyers and pictures immediately it’s not too late. You need to cover a lot of territory with those flyers because as I’m sure you know those Bengal cat travels fast.

Barbara Robertson it’s possible- we’ve put out fliers asking people to check garages, sheds etc. We’ve also tried calling for her outside of garages nearby and haven’t heard anything. But there are many, many garages of course
