Message from Owner

This is our 19 pound all black cat Indy. He is an indoor outdoor cat who loves going out all night and coming to relax on our porch in the morning. He has yet to come home this morning and I am getting very nervous. Recently found out he has severe kidney disease and I just want to help make him happy so I figured I would let him out since he hasn’t been able to go in 4 days. I am just getting nervous because I saw coyote poops around our pathway in the neighborhood and am thinking worst case scenario. Indy is a very friendly cat.

I'm so sorry about your kitty. Here are some tips that helped me find my little guy when he got out. My kitty got out in the middle of winter for 11 days. I put flyers out everywhere and some very nice friends of a friend of mine saw my flyers and said he was living under their outside stairs. Flyers work. Also I was told to go out at night when it's quiet and call your kitty calmly. They are scared when outside even if it's your voice they hear so shouting or calling loudly isn't recommended. Also using a flashlight while looking in garages and bushes helps. Cats eyes glow when a light beams on them. Shaking treat bags can help too. Don't do a litterbox that can attract dangerous animals that could hurt Kitty. You can do a piece of dirty laundry of yours that they can be attached too. One more thing also is to get a humane trap from a local shelter and put the smelliest food inside. Believe it or not KFC chicken has helped attract cats more than any food lol. Also cameras can help also to see if your baby comes around when you're not home. I wish you the best of luck and hope. 💜💜💜💜🍀

Call and visit your shelters and pounds. Someone could have picked your baby up. Also they can note that your kitty is missing and if she is turned in they will call you. It also doesn't hurt to call them often just in case.

Ask your local mailman if they've seen your kitty or if they can keep an eye out.

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Hang worn clothes and/or your pillow case in a tree or on top of shrubs to create a scent trail. Knock on neighbors doors ASAP with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

staying healthy is something we should all pray for. I had kidney failure and tried many medications, but nothing worked. Then I found Dr.Godbless an African herbal doctor. I was doubtful at first, but I tried his herbal remedy. It worked. I am now kidney -free and very grateful. Dr.Godbless
