I'm sorry have to make a post like this, but if it were my pet I would want to know. There is a deceased dog in the yard of 669 Rowland Rd in Stone Mountain. Male, medium sized short haired mutt with black and brown spots on a white coat, white tipped tail, and short, floppy ears. Hard to tell what breeds might be mixed in from the angle I could get. No collar. Poor thing looks like it was very recently hit by a car but has been there since at least noon. The homeowner doesn't know who he belonged to and is wanting to call for removal services, but my hope is that the owners get word first so that they can make their own arrangements. Be very cautious when approaching as this road is clearly dangerous, as further evidenced by the dead black cat the next yard over. Dog is still partially in the street. Hope the family is able to get closure and lay their sweet baby to rest. 💕🌈
