Brown, tan, and white young & friendly male husky.

Brown white and tan male husky found in Royal Oak (Oakland County)! Near 13 and Woodward. PLEASE NOTE: He did not have a collar on when I found him around 1:30 am 9/24/26. We put the red collar on him in case we needed to leash or hold him. He was a bit skittish at first but I was able to call him and bring him into my backyard. Now he’s very playful and sweet!! He is around 70-90 lbs and very fluffy/long-haired. Seems to be on the younger side. He is safe and with me for now, but I have two dogs who are going crazy and two cats, so I would like to find his owner asap and avoid him having to go anywhere else!! He seems to be friendly and non-aggressive with dogs. In good shape but a little dirty and roughed up. I have looked through all the posts on here and his forehead markings do not seem to be a match. Police scanned for licensed brown huskies but haven’t been able to reach either of the two owners registered in my area. They don’t seem to be a match anyways, though. Text me if you think you might know where this dog’s home is!!❤️❤️if you have it please include proof so I can protect him. Seems to be well loved! Feel free to screenshot and repost. Will make shareable if I can. Thanks everyone!!

🐾FOUND DOG PROTOCOL- Follow the Law Original Advice. KNOCK ON NEIGHBOR’S DOORS IMMEDIATELY. ♦️MUST get proof of Ownership! Please report to local police and animal control as owner has probably made a lost pet report. This is a law. Finders must report a found pet. 🐾Just remember Found Animals can’t be re-homed by you. You have to make an effort by law to find the owner and if not turn over to Animal Control who will take to the shelter your town contracts with. ⬇️ Please knock on your neighbors door up to two miles, although not all dogs run far when they get out. Hand them Found Dog flyers. Get proof of ownership before you hand the dog over! Proof of ownership is: Multiple pictures from their phone of them with the dog or the dog, dog’s name, Vet receipts. Please also check the Facebook lost pet pages local to your town. You can also take to a Vet for free service of scanning for a microchip. Please do everything you can to find the owner because once animals go into the “system” when animal control is called there is only a 7 day hold period before they can legally adopt out. Going into a shelter places a tremendous amount of stress on an animal and because of the stress they are prone to biting as it’s their only defense mechanism. Thank you for helping! ** I posted what to do when you find a lost dog. Please read it and follow it. It has to be reported to nonemergency police and given to Animal Control. Animals are considered property in all states so to do otherwise the theft of property. Also, this dog has a diamond shaped marking between its eyes on its head and this is a very distinct marking, so that's definitely something that you should be posting about and trying to find posts for

UPDATE AS OF 4:45 AM: Just took him to blue pearl to scan for a chip and he does not have one. If anyone knows someone who could take him today or could take him temporarily please reach out. Due to a past feline sarcoma, my cat is unvaccinated so I cannot bring him inside🥲
