Diane Petykowski I seriously doubt that a dog, 10 years old, just ran away. There are several scenarios you can look at, but one thing is a fact, that dog used to be owned by somebody because it could not have survived in the wild on its own for years. One scenario is that the previous owner may have passed away and those who inherited may have dumped the dog. Unfortunately, people dump dogs everyday all over the world and it sickens me. I personally rescued two little Yorkies that were dumped in an Arby's parking lot in Salisbury North Carolina. I am currently writing a book about it.
