On 08-06-2026, a very sweet, young (maybe 1-year-old), liver female GSP showed up on our porch during the thunderstorm with NO COLLAR. All day on 08-06-2026, she had the opportunity to go back home (we left our gate open on purpose), and she didn't leave. After witnessing her almost being ran over, we bought dog food (and a toy) and are keeping her safe. Maybe she tracked something and got too far away to find her way back. If you have lost or know someone who has lost a liver GSP in this area, please feel free to reach out. We have taken her in to prevent her from being hit by cars. >Local shelter was contacted Friday. No one has called. I have emailed again yesterday, but they are closed over the weekend. >Columbia Co. Animal Shelter has been notified today. >Had her scanned by Sanderline Vet Clinic in Harlem: NO MICROCHIP **PROOF OF OWNERSHIP WILL BE REQUIRED**
