No, because LP says she gave her five more wonderful years after finding the dog. And then everyone else saying it’s a scam that people for years have been using the same photo. It’s all here and comments. Georgia is still missing. Imthe owners they posted Neighbor ring doorbell app . I don’t know if she’s missing from downtown. He mentioned Harrison high school or district but I think south downtown maybe Southgate area I’m not quite sure where Harrison is.

I signed a paper agreeing if no one came for the dog in a certain amount of time I would adopt the dog. They encouraged me to take the dog with me instead of putting it in the shelter. I just know I went down with the dog. They gave me papers to sign and no one ever showed up for the dog. She was an old dog they said maybe a year or two to live but I gave her another 5 years of life in a loving home. My guess is someone dropped it off on the highway because they thought she was old and stinky and no longer wanted her. Many people pick up.dogs and don't even try to find the owner or contact the human society.

Crystal Mccasland hsppr should not be telling you that. Yes, they encourage you to hold at your home if possible but the only legal way for ownership to transfer is actually surrendering to a licensed shelter, waiting the 5 day mandatory stray hold then adopting. Ok lt then is a transfer of ownership legal.

Linda Lee when you contact the human society they list the dog at being held at your place so if an owner comes forward they can get their dog. If no owner contacts you after a certain amount of days the dog is officially yours. They actually try to talk finders to keep them at their homes because then the owner doesn't have to pay the fees. I got one of my dogs this way. Although I was really hoping the owner would contact me. Not sure if she contacted the Human Society but looks like she listed the dog on other platforms and tried to find the owners
