We were notified that our dog may have been picked up by two females one with black hair the other was dirty blonde mid 30s early 40s. Picked up on new cut rd at 3:30pm today driving a light brown Toyota Camry. They claimed they rescue dogs. He is microchipped and haven’t heard anything yet. If you know anyone that may know anything please reach out !

The "Path of Least Resistance": Small dogs will avoid difficult terrain. When seeking water or food, they often travel along residential roads, sidewalks, or railroad tracks. Instead of wandering openly near large bodies of water, they are far more likely to hunker down in tight, hidden spaces during the day. Check under porches, inside sheds, beneath thick brush, or under parked cars. Don't Chase or Call Out: When in survival mode, a dog may not recognize its owner's voice or face and will run away from you. Set up a Station: Leave a bowl of water, a crate, and a piece of your worn clothing (like a t-shirt or pillowcase) near the area they were last seen. Your scent will comfort them and encourage them to stay put. Search at Dawn and Dusk: Lost dogs tend to hide silently during the day and move to find food and water when it is quiet and dark.
