I'm concerned after contacting shelters about the effectiveness of microchips. Some have a universal scanner, but not all can read the chip Information (is what I was told). Is there a brand of microchips that are most commonly used?

Try checking Provo towne center mall. There is a ton of cats that tend to just find each other and huddle up

Awww poor Mango, prayers from Ivins for a SAFE return ! Looks just like the poor kitty that comes to my house but has light green eyes. I wish I could post but I don't know how. This big, neuterd, 15? pound, LOVING boy looks like he's just lost. He's definitely SOMEONE'S kitty. Looks and playes like he's young. I hope you find Mango !!!

Does your cat have a microchip with your current contract information Go outside now while it's quiet and call him and listen carefully for him to answer Use a flashlight to see eyes glow in the dark Check yours and neighbors sheds garages and window wells and under bushes and tarps and drain pipes Check your local animal shelter Hand out flyers door to door Leave a way for him to get back into the house
