Message from Owner

Hi everyone, My cat Millie has been missing since Tuesday 10th October and I am out of my mind with worry. She is a slender black cat with a small white tuft on her chest. She is very sweet and timid so likely to be nervous if approached. Her being away for this long is very out of character. She was last seen around Hawthorn Way on Tuesday and possibly today at The Acorns (road on the same side of Grange Hill station next to Manford way) but we aren’t definite it was her as black cats are common. We have put some flyers around asking for people to check their sheds and grges as we are worried she could be injured or locked in somewhere. We've also called some local vets but nothing. She is microchipped. Please if anyone spots this cat can you call me asap? Probably best not to approach as she could bolt. If you see her in a shed, please leave the door open for 20 minutes to give her a chance to leave. Thank you so much! Gemma

Bev Jones I have, I’ve alerted everywhere I think of - she’s chipped too and all the details are up to date so if she’s taken somewhere that will scan then they should call me.

Apologies for the frantic message Bev - I'm a bit all over the place at the moment. But if you can think of anything else I'd really appreciate it as I'm not sure what the next step should be x

Bev Jones Thanks Bev I've been doing all of that for 9 days straight, I've leafleted everywhere, alerted every vet, cats protection and every neighbourhood group. I stood in field for an hour and half last Friday in the rain shouting at a bush convinced she was there and trapped under something (thought I saw her but it wasn't her in the end). A cat matching her description was spotted in a road nearby. Someone even sent me photos yesterday morning of a cat that looks just like her on someones driveway which is odd as if she's out then why isn't she coming home?, unless she's lost and disoriented? They know me by name round there now as I am there twice a day with dreamies and a carrier in case I find her. I'm starting to think someone there has taken her and maybe her being outside when someone took the photos for me was just a fluke - I'm going out of my mind. Her mum is here and they have never been separated and she's doing really badly, showing signs of stress, calling for her all over the house, looking for her, pulling out drawers and the skirtings in the kitchen, she's not eating properly and I'm so worried about her too, I can't comfort her she needs her baby home. Thank you for your support ❤
