Cats typically stay close to home. Cats can become disoriented and you will need to go get them. Go out when it's quiet and take a flashlight and a favorite toy or treat to shake when calling for them. Be prepared to crawl into a space to get them. Check crawl spaces with a flashlight. I had one that was disoriented that the flashlight caught the top of his ears. I had to crawl in and get him. I've found him in a bush another time. The flashlight caught the reflection of his eyes. I had to literally crawl into places for one of mine. The vet told me it's because they are territorial animals and can become disoriented. Put up flyers and ask neighbors if you might be allowed to look around for your pet. I have found mine under my home twice, once under a low deck, in bushes and even under a neighbor's car in their yard. Post also on Next Door Neighbor and on For the Love of Louie and Pawboost. Alert shelters and local police.

Check extremely good around your house and neighbors, bushes shrubs high grass, paper bags and trees, underneath porches and decks, outbuilding and garages, evening time when it’s quiet, check all shelters in the county and animal control also.

Poor poor baby go out walking the neighborhood, knocking on doors post some ads up around the area rewards always helps go out walking the neighborhood several times during the day and several times very late at night with a flashlight shaking a treat bag calling for your cat. They usually get scared. They usually stay between five and seven houses from Home heavier neighbors check their garages sheds under decks under vehicles behind bushes and Barnes post some ads on local lost and found pet site you can Google these in your area poor baby prayers check with local vets check with local animal shelter and Humane Society. You must let them know you lost your cat just in case somebody finds it. Poor baby prayers. You can also try putting your cats bed, blanket toys, and some of your dirty clothing from inside the house, such as T-shirts, sweaters, blankets sheets do not wash these items. Put these items out on your porch. Keep your eyes open animals have a great sense of smell change outside items every couple of days this works great for cats and dogs. This work for me and my cat several times over the years and recently my cat got out of the house. I put my cat bed blanket and some of my dirty T-shirts out on the porch about midnight. I turned the porch light on to look for the cat and he was laying in his bed. This works great for cats and dogs. They usually start moving around between 12 AM and 6 AM when it’s very quiet outside keep your eyes open at these times poor baby Prayers
