UPDATE AS OF 10/25 2:37PM - We still have not found her and haven't had any sightings since the first day. Hoping she has just hunkered down one area. We've been advised to tell people not to go out looking for her for the time being. Thank you all again for the help/prayers/advice. UPDATE AS OF 10/24 11:42AM - Our dog was last seen by someone in the abandoned parking lot across 675 Central Avenue last night at 11:00pm. We have been told by animal control to not release her name as people shouting it may frighten her and that the best way to keep her in one spot is is to offer food without eye contact. UPDATE AS OF 10/23 7:16PM: We've searched many places and still can't find her. There is a big football game today and so my gut is that since she is afraid of loud noises, she will probably be away from that, probably near/in the woods. If anyone sees anything, please do call me. Thank you all for your support/wishes/help. We really appreciate it. LOST DOG!! PLEASE HELP!!! This morning our dog ran away around Providence Place, New Providence NJ. She was last seen in 600 Central Avenue near the creek! BREED: Black Lab WEARING: Pink Harness with Black Leash She's about 40lbs and very nice, doesn't bite!! Please call if you see this dog! Also, please don't chase her as she will bolt. If you see her and are in close contact, it's recommended from a few rescue experts that we've talked to, to talk in a very high pitched calm voice and almost going down to her level but not walking forward. All help and prayers are appreciated!
