Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood 2X DAILY, DAY & NIGHT, CHECK BUSHES 1st!!! Check window wells, under decks, sheds, garages, behind AC units, dumpsters, under staircases, under BBQ covers, behind firewood. Indoor Cats don't go far, usually close by. Others hide during the day and roam @ night when it's quiet. Shake bag of cat food or treats, walking, calling by name, saying are u hungry, Bring a flashlight, search day & night. Knock on neighbor's doors. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors

My boy went missing for three days. My vet encouraged me to put out his favorite toy, bedding, litter box cleaned out or not, preferably all in a fence yard are in the garage with the door up just a little bit for kitty to slip under. He also said to get the owners used pillowcase and a pair of the owners old shoes. He said the cat will hide during the day but at night time it will be out and he will smell his way back home. My boy did.
