Message from Owner

My babygirl is missing. She went out last night but has not returned. She usually comes crying at the door within a couple hours. Her name is Merida. She is chipped, has a pink collar, and is a little over a year old. This isn’t her first time outside, but first time not returning before nighttime. It’s been 24 hours. Please reach out if you’ve seen any sign of her. We have walked and drove around our neighborhood searching. We will continue to do so.

~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your “Fur~Baby” in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters…
Now that the rain has passed I would immediately Place items with a familiar scent on from inside of your home outside like your rubs and shoes and a specially any dirty laundry and used bedding I would definitely check with neighbors that have garages or sheds it has been very well known for cats to accidentally get enclosed and it's possible she was trying to get away from the thunder and lightning and rain I hopefully your kitty will pick up that familiar scent from outside or you find her definitely go check with neighbors that have garages or sheds
Look at night with flashlight, to.picjk up eye reflection. Under cars , drains bushes, buildinfs, hidey holes. Call her nsme In calm.natural.voice. i put out used litter box. Controversial.I know. But a) its short term, and b) i lived for many years backed up.on open farm land and used litter box, and never had a problem with attracting other animals, anf as i said it's short term .
