Hi Everyone, my sweet male cat escaped and hasn’t returned yet and we are very worried, we are living next to Tunnel road in the campground road area. This is his picture if you have seen him please let me know, his name is Marshall and he is a sweet guy and we worried to death.

Máthé Brigitta thank you for having him neutered and microchipped ❤️ Be sure to contact the chip company and tell them that he's missing. Also make sure your contact info is up-to-date on their website. If you haven't already, put up flyers everywhere as many people aren't on social media. Give flyers to every vet clinic, rescue, and shelter in the area in case he turns up. Having his picture in their hands will help keep him at the forefront of their minds. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds, and crawlspaces. Look up in trees in case he was chased. Walk the neighborhood in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Call him in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if he likes that kind of stuff. He's probably hunkered down and hiding nearby, but he may not answer you when you call - that's just instinctual, as a vocal cat gives away their location to predators. Put his beds/ blankets and some of your dirty clothes on your porches and around the perimeter of your yard. When he comes home, you might consider building or buying a catio (some people have bought pre-made chicken coops and "attached" them to their houses with kitty access through a window); or, if you have a fenced-in yard, consider putting up cat-fencing or coyote rollers on top of the fence to keep him safely in your yard (both can be DIY).
