Judy Brandel Shipley well obviously it happens because people to are ignorant and don't use their brains to keep their pets safe. There are so many coyotes looking for animals like this to eat. My Yorkies are never out of my sight. I've had dogs 60 years and never lost one. So don't tell me to stop when I care more about the suffering an animal goes through then you're guilt tripping
