I think I have seen him visiting my backyard a couple times but I am not 100% positive.

If chipped make sure owner contact info is current with chip company. File online lost reports with shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. Put something outside with the kitty's scent on it and call the cat's name at night when quiet and shake food container. Keep checking shelters online and in person and check trees.
