Message from Owner

Molly has been an indoor only cat since I rescued her nearly 11 years ago. I am devastated that she is missing, and my family is now incomplete without her. Please reach out with any information so I can be reunited with my baby.

Put out food, water, and some of YOUR dirty clothes (dirty socks are nice and stinky)/blankets (dry in dryer first to enhance smell). because of the weather, you might want to put out a plastic tub with the blankets for shelter. Go out every morning and evening walking (folks seem successful around 10:30 p.m., but don't go alone) with food/treats in bowl rattling it, calling your cats name. Do NOT give up. There was a cat a week or so ago, they went out every night for 5 nights, finally on the 5th night, they heard it's meow, it was trapped in a neigbors shed. Another was hiding in a tree from the neighbor's dogs. Check buildings, bushes, trees, and storm drains around your house. Also in the house/garage, keep all doors/closets open in case it's hiding in the house. Put neon Lost Cats signs all over your neighborhood, give to vets, and the shelter. Also have magnets made of your lost cat sign and stick on your car. Contact the chip company if chipped. Post to Lost Cats facebook page, petfbi.org, nextdoor.com, and pawboost.com (ignore cost, do not put in credit card info, its free)

Rebecca Jacobs thank you so much for the advice. I’ve left a blanket in the garage and some worn clothing on the porch. I’ve been going out every night at different times to look. I appreciate you!

You might try leaving some recently worn clothing ( not the litter box) outside near the house or in the garage with the door open slightly. Look for kitty late at night when it’s quiet
