Try putting some kibble food in a dish on the back and front of your house after dark when the neighborhood is quiet. Shake the dish before you put it down and call your cat with a sweet voice that it will recognize. You can also take one dish in your hand and walk through the neighborhood at night while shaking it and calling him. He is probably petrified during the day and hiding. Don't give up!
