2 Female terrier mixes I'm guessing

This afternoon around 3:15pm my fiance found these little dogs hanging around the park and there were no people in sight. They were both wearing harnesses but there were no tags on either of them and they are not microchipped. I didn't have the heart to call animal control and have them put in a shelter over the weekend especially since it's a holiday weekend so we're taking care of them until we can find their family. They are both very sweet and love to cuddle. The smaller one I'm guessing is around 10 lb and the larger one I'm guessing is around 14 lb.

Junie Rosalie also, since you keep harping on “the law” maybe you should actually know what the law requires. The law requires that the finder report finding the dogs. As that has clearly happened, the finder broke 0 laws and no charges could be filed. Stop being so ignorant

Junie Rosalie you’re a complete asshat. If she was attempting to steal the dogs, she wouldn’t have posted that she has them. How would that make any sense??? Furthermore, anyone who loves their dogs would be THRILLED to have them safe with finder rather than at the shelter. Lastly, if you knew ANYTHING, you would know the law does NOT require you to relinquish the dogs. AWSOM in Stroudsburg repeatedly posts found dogs that say “safe with owner” as again, anyone with an iota of concern for a dog knows they would fair MUCH better outside the shelter environment. So take your negative and shove it. I hope you don’t have dogs since you would prefer they be in a high stress, scary shelter than comfy on someone’s couch while waiting for their owners to claim them. You, my dear, are a huge POS
