Golden Yorkie, seems older

Sweet baby girl just found on Cottage Hill across from Burlington Place! She's clean and recently groomed. No collar, must prove she's your baby! Will take her to our vet and see if she has a microchip in as soon as I can.

I seen another post but the owner found their dog. It was a yorkie but wasn't the same color.

Karen Gazzier I agree & she's a cute fur baby. Looks a lot like the rescue I got late last year. He's doing great! I got a fenced in my back yard & I still go outside and watch them.🤗💕 I got big dogs as neighbors & they don't stay in their yard. 😡

Deborah Shaw this is just blowing my mind that people are letting dogs of this nature out alone this is the second one that we posted and that once again they are very fortunate that they've got somebody honest that took this baby home until they could be found. I never let any of my fur babies out of my sight... Grant your mind or not purebreds but they're still beautiful dogs and I really don't care about the breed of the dog the only kind of dog titled that I love is rescued 🥰 that's the only breed that there is to me I don't look at any dog's breed or pedigree.. my little Minnie is half shih tzu her mama was full blooded and her daddy was also half shih tzu so I don't know what that would make her LOL I guess a mutt but she's my mutt LOL. This is my baby right here..🐾🥰 or I should say one of my babies but she's the one that's spoiled rotten LOL her and Dallas

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for keeping this pet safe and ensuring that anyone who claims to be the owner IS in fact the rightful owner. Be careful…. The owner will be able to tell YOU the dog’s name, gender, color of collar and any identifying marks / characteristics. You shouldn’t post online (Facebook) any of the above info about the pet you found. And don’t share it with the possible owner. Let the owner of a missing pet give you the info about their pet. Request photos of their missing dog. See if the dog responds to the pet’s name the person gives you. See if the dog you found matches any description / characteristics they provide. The owner will also have vet records to share. Pet can be scanned for free at your veterinary office, many fire stations, petco and petsmart. Some groomers can scan for microchips too. Also please contact the local animal shelter and report this pet as found. Pet’s family should call there or go there looking for their fur baby. You should be able to foster the pet at your home, so that the pet doesn’t have to stay at the shelter. Older dogs, and litter dogs especially shouldn’t be at shelters. They do not do well at all in a shelter environment. Pleas, please consider being his foster family. However, the shelter be aware that you found him/her. I also recommend putting a simple Found Dog in your yard and at your mailbox in case pet’s owners drive around looking for him or her. Also lets your mailman, neighbors and other delivery people know about the dog. They may hear of a missing dog and now will know you found one. And, it can be a good idea to walk the dog on leash around the neighbor to see if the dog leads you to their home and to see if anyone recognizes the pooch.
