Message from Owner

Have you seen my little kitten in your area? She went wandering from our yard & never came home, Tuesday night. She has a red collar & she has been spayed and chipped. The collar has my phone number engraved on it. She can be skittish of humans, so I don't expect contact - but I would be grateful if you could let me know you have seen her!

Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search for the flashlight high and low. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And post on nextdoor com

I'm so sorry that Pheobe is missing. Often they haven't gone far from the point of last seen so check with ALL of your neighbors!! Research shows that most cats are found within a 6 block radius of the point of last seen. Please ask your neighbors to check their sheds, garages, window wells, under porches, etc. anywhere she may have inadvertently been trapped. It's possible someone took her in thinking that she was a stray. Consider putting missing flyers in the neighborhood and on the doorstep of any neighbors you don't get to talk to. Ask neighbors to check their Ring cameras. I've helped a few neighbors track down their missing cats. All of them were found just a few blocks away. Also check online at the found cats at the NoCo Humane Society. https://www.nocohumane.org/lost-found-pets/stray-cats-2/ Check daily because they are only on a stray hold for a short time before they can be adopted by others. If she's microchipped, make sure that your contact information connected to her chip registration is correct! I've seen scammers replying to lost pet posts saying that they have found the lost pet. If you have to respond by messenger it is a scam. Praying that Pheobe is home soon ❤️🙏 Here's a helpful resource: https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I?si=nfyOzi00hC5SNFV

Put out a scent station ASAP with dirty clothes and switch clothes often to kept the scent active and do NOT put out litter box as it can draw predators. Talk to neighbors ask them to check sheds, garages, window wells, bushes etc anywhere a cat could hide or get trapped if they have cameras ask them to check footage for sightings. Typically cats stay in a six block radius of home and will first seek a hiding place then water then food. At night and early morning when it's quite take a flashlight and call softly look for eyes if treat movated take a bag and shake it. Post on nextdoor and neighborhood watch. Aput a sign in your front yard with photo and info and put up flyers as not everyone uses social media. File a lost pet report online with the Humane Socity and check all shelters daily I hope your furbaby is home soon.

A neighbor said she was seen Wednesday evening. We spent all day Thursday looking when she didn't come home that night. We are still looking. Thank you, everyone!
