Do not call animal control you could try to find a foster a rescue.. animal control would give him 72 hours and then he will be put down now if you can get that Forsyth county humane society to take him that's a different story

Usually people take off their collars if they're gonna dump them. This dog could have been lost. It looks like a boxer to me. When you say found, do you mean you have him safe? And contained, he needs to be retrained to eat. He is so thin, very, very small meals eating large amounts could hurt him instead of help has to take it slowly
