Message from Owner

LOST CAT, PLEASE HELP US BRING GRAMPA HOME Our sweet cat Grampa got out through a side door that we thought was fully shut. We think the door may not have latched properly. It was an unfortunate mishap, and our family is feeling quite devastated. We have had Grampa since he was a kitten, and he is dearly loved. He is about 4 years old, a big gray male cat, neutered, and microchipped. He is an indoor-only cat and has no idea how to be outside, so we’re worried that he may be scared and hiding quietly somewhere close by. He has a tiny little meow for such a big boy. We’ve already reported his microchip, contacted shelters, submitted him to Petco Love Lost, reached out to neighbors, and we’re leaving ways for him to hopefully make his way back in, including keeping the garage cracked. We are posting here for extra eyes and help. If you live nearby, please check garages, sheds, side yards, porches, under cars, bushes, and shaded areas. He could be hiding in a quiet spot and is too afraid to come out. We are in the Cloche Dr / McCartney Dr / Tulette Ln area of Winchester, near EOS Fitness and Benton Rd. If you see him, please message me right away with the location. Any helpful sighting or act of kindness is truly appreciated. We already feel awful and just want our Grampa home safe. Thank you so much to anyone willing to help us look for him 🫶

Indoor only kitties rarely go far. So far you've done all the things necessary to help him get back home. You can put some of your dirty laundry on the lawn near the garage so that he can scent his way back. Also at night use a flashlight calling him calmly and searched small dark nearby hiding places. Hurt or scared kitties will hide even from owners so while he might not answer the light will reflect off his eyes
