Message from Finder

I came home to find this dog leaning against my front porch door. I think it may have been hit by a car as it has difficulty getting up and there is a little blood on my front door. I put one of my pup's leashes on it to secure him/her. It's now lying on its side and don't think it would attempt to leave due to suspected injuries. I've contacted TPD and they are having animal personnel contact me.

Lost and Found Pets of Hillsborough County Definitely not a Rottweiler, maybe a Doberman/Lab mix but not a Rottweiler

Suzanne Pothier I am happy to report that Thursday at 8:47 p.m., Animal Service personnel picked up this beautiful soul. I called a vet friend in NC and he recommended against trying to move this pup as it was obvious that he suffered injuries sustained most likely from a car. Lost and Found Pets of Hillsborough County was amazing in posting a photo of him Thursday evening. See in the comment section below. I'm trying to follow up to see how he's doing as he remains in my mind and heart. 💜🙏💜🙏💜

Linda Stillman , I've called to no avail. I have an amazing friend from Heidi's Legacy Rescue, where I adopted both of my pups from, who is trying to find out. This elderly, neglected pup deserves to spend his remaining years surrounded by love. 💜
