Message from Owner

I ask for my community's help in finding my dog Blessing who had strayed away from home. She's an anxious beagle mix that can never say no to her nose and curious nature. She slipped away from my sight Saturday afternoon around 12:15pm. I searched for her once I noticed but had no signs of her or from our neighbors. Please help me find info or if anyone had picked her up or dropped her off at any nearby shelters.

I found a dog with same coloring last night in south side. Is she small? Did she have a collar on?

A call came over com center on Saturday for a dog matching this description running around Cedar Avenue. The dog went into this business 618 Cedar Avenue. I went in to check it out and the lady at the counter said "the owner came and got the dog already". You might want to go shake down this business and ask for a description of who picked up the dog because clearly they did not ask for proof of ownership. I hope you are able to find Blessing. Please contact Scranton Animal Control and put out flyers.

Doyou know anyone who has a drone? Try lostmydoggie.com They have a service that sends out a lost pet alert to the phones in your area with a description and your phone number. There is a fee, but that’s how I found my cat. If you can print out flyers, give them to the mail carriers and your neighbors and put them on their porches as well as on telephone poles. Also give them to the animal shelters and the veterinarians offices. If there are businesses nearby, ask if you can put a flyer in their window 💔🙏
